For laughs and such, I ran this blog’s URI through $timator, a doohickey that purports to calculate the value of a website:
The engine deliveries the most accurate economical value that a website could (be) worth by collecting important data from different sources. The results are indexed to database references and to the financial market in order to re-produce, as real as possible, how much investors are prepared to invest. Stimator is in beta stage as we keep improving this project.
Factors involved in the calculation include strength of TLD (top-level domain), variations of the financial market, website markup and HTML.
This site, the one in which you’re presently soaking, was rated at a pedestrian $11,348 USD (or 8,722 in euros).
My former blog, Waveflux, clocks in at $65,349.
For comparison’s sake, I ran Melissa McEwan’s community blog Shakesville through the valuator. The result: $637,086. Time to cash out, Liss!
And…that was ten minutes out of my day.

I’m rich! I’m rich!
Congratulations!
